Common Questions About Membership
-
Founding Members meet quarterly to discuss organizational direction, vote on key decisions, and provide strategic input. This includes:
Approving annual budgets and major expenditures
Setting community guidelines and policies
Deciding on new programs and initiatives
Selecting board members after the founding phase
After 1 year, governance transitions to a Board of Directors, but Founding Members retain their membership status, locked-in rate, and legacy recognition.
Time commitment: ~4 quarterly meetings per year (2 hours each) plus occasional input via email/surveys.
-
Yes! During our founding phase (through December 2026), General Members can apply to become Founding Members. You'll need board approval and will pay the $100 founding fee at that time. Your monthly rate will adjust to $15/month.
After the founding phase closes, upgrades to Founding Member status will no longer be available—those spots are locked for legacy.
-
Yes, you can cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
General Members: No penalty for cancellation. Your membership ends at the end of your billing cycle.
Founding Members: You can cancel, but the $100 founding fee is non-refundable as it supports our initial development. Your monthly dues stop after the 30-day notice period.
We hope you'll stay, but we understand life changes. You're always welcome back.
